COVID-19 Lockdown update: PM Modi to Address the Nation at 10 am Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 10 am on Tuesday, 14 April as the coronavirus lockdown coming to an end on 15 April. This address would come days after he held a conference with chief ministers of states, in which there was an ‘agreement’ to extend the lockdown by added two weeks.
Nevertheless, this extended lockdown is likely to proceed with certain relaxations for specific sectors, in view of the economic turmoil that the country has faced. The prime minister had declared a complete national lockdown for 21 days, stating that it is a necessary step to counter the spread of coronavirus in the country. He had stated that “If we don’t follow the nationwide lockdown for 21 days, we will be pushed back by 21 years.”
