The Jharkhand board, JAC exam 2020, class 10 and 12 are all set to be held from tomorrow across various centres in the state. It will be starting from February 11, 2020, and will end on February 28, 2020.
The Jharkhand academic council is taking all the precautions to control the exam conduction and has issued a notification to the candidates on its official website too.
The timetable has also been released and the candidates can also go to correct any mistakes found on their admit cards on the official address of JAC. Though, the exams are always conducted in the month of March, but this year the exams have been preponed.
The total number of students estimated to be appearing in the exam is 3.2 lakhs out of which 90,000 are from science stream, 47,000 are from commerce stream and
1.8 lakh are from the arts stream.
The Board has also instructed none of the candidates to keep any mobile phones or electronic devices in the exam centres. Even the teachers of the exam centre are not allowed to keep their phones along with them. Only the superintendents and the central examination controller will be allowed to keep their phones with them.
If there are any discrepancies on the admit card, apart from the candidate’s photograph, he/she will have to bring the written consent from the school for making a change in the admit card.Along with these, a helpline number has also been started by JAC and the controller can scan the QR code of the exam paper and take the basic information of the child at any time.
