Tata Trusts donates Rs 500 crore in India


Tata Trusts will contribute Rs 500 crore to I to fight the novel coronavirus pandemic said, Ratan Tata.
Industrialist and Tata Group Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata on Saturday said that crisis resources are much important in the present times to be stationed to cope with the needs of battling the novel coronavirus crisis, and promised Rs 500 crore to fight the pandemic.
The money will be spent to furnish health resources to fight coronavirus pandemic. Five major areas where the investment will be allotted are as follows:
1.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the medical personnel on the frontlines
2.Respiratory systems for treating increasing cases
3.Testing kits to increase per capita testing.
4.Setting up modular treatment facilities for infected patients
5.Knowledge management and training of health workers and the general public
Ratan Tata through Twitter conveyed that the Covid-19 crisis is an extremely tough test the human race is facing, and how the “Tata Trusts and the Tata group companies have in the past risen to the needs of the nation”.
